Mural has raised $15 million in Series A financing, bringing its total funding to $28 million. The company provides payment infrastructure that connects traditional banking and blockchain rails while managing the financial licenses, partner bank relationships and local settlement integrations behind them. Since launching its API in 2025, Mural says it has processed $2.1 billion in payments across 128 countries. The company plans to place more engineers directly with enterprise clients to address jurisdiction-specific regulatory and banking requirements. Its platform also uses a policy and compliance engine to apply controls such as approved counterparty lists, transfer caps and additional approvals for large transactions. Mural counts Deel, Opera and Axexo among its enterprise clients. The financing comes as research cited in the verified data points to substantial stablecoin payment activity, although the available figures measure different periods and types of flows. Mural did not disclose a valuation for the round.
CapitalOS completed a $21.9 million Series A financing round on October 21, 2026, led by LGVP. The company plans to expand its engineering team and scale the infrastructure behind its AI-driven money orchestration platform. WEX Venture Capital, Group 11, Great North Ventures, Night Capital and existing early investors also participated. Founded in 2022, CapitalOS helps vertical SaaS and AI platforms offer embedded charge cards, digital wallets and automated bill payments without maintaining in-house licensing or risk operations. Its architecture uses five specialized AI agents across underwriting, capital, compliance, risk and fraud, and support. Property management platform Guesty is an active customer, and CapitalOS reports managing transactions for more than 25,000 active cardholders across dozens of integrated platforms. CapitalOS relies on infrastructure provider Increase and its chartered partner banks rather than replacing depository institutions. The announcement did not disclose a valuation, credit warehouse partner or the identities of its current primary sponsor banks.
Hyperlayer has raised £19.5 million in a Series A2 round led by existing investor Flintlock Capital, valuing the company at £195 million post-money. Mouro Capital and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments also participated. The funding brings Hyperlayer’s capital raised over the trailing 12 months to approximately £50 million, following a £30 million financing in late 2025. The company develops Layer Core, a programmable overlay designed to let banks manage product logic, pricing and automated compliance above their existing core systems, which continue to record ledger transactions. Hyperlayer says it has secured deployment mandates with unnamed Tier 1 banks in Europe and North America. The round supports an international rollout following its US market launch in September 2026. Alongside the financing, Hyperlayer named Ben Helps chief operating officer and Louise Chan chief commercial officer. Flintlock Capital co-founder and general partner Joe Shamess joined its board.
ScribeUp has announced a $13 million Series A financing round led by Curql, comprising $10 million in equity and a $3 million venture debt facility. The company disclosed the round in October 2026 alongside the Money20/20 conference in Las Vegas. Mucker Capital and Service Ventures also participated. The distinction between equity and debt matters: the $13 million figure describes the combined financing, not an all-equity investment. ScribeUp provides embedded recurring bill management tools for financial institutions. Its platform tracks and processes obligations across approximately 200,000 unique subscription billers and can be integrated into digital banking apps through an SDK, iframe or API. It works with more than 60 community banks, credit unions, fintechs and neobanks. The company plans to use the financing to expand its team, scale its go-to-market efforts among banks and credit unions, and accelerate development of agentic AI execution tools.
